As a graphic designer I have developed a passion for photography because it allows me to see things in a different light. Looking through a lens of a camera tells a different story then the naked eye. Photography allows me to appreciate fine art, and grow as a designer. Learning, and exploring into the world of photography has allowed me to grow, learn and see the world different. I love having the ability to capture that moment in time. Some of my favorite subjects are animals, landscape, and newborns.

 

I feel that photography is extrememly important to have as a graphic designer because it allows you to learn your subject and client on a personal level and to develop my creativity that captures the true passion, values and beliefs of the company or individual. Not only can photography inspire creativity, but it can be intergrated into the design aspect to create something more personal.
